Bungie has confirmed that its next DLC, Black Armory, will indeed launch on December 4th for Destiny 2. In its weekly update, the developer also confirmed that Season 5, also known as Season of the Forge, will start on November 27th. It also confirmed that a new ViDoc and gameplay calendar will be released to showcase what’s ahead.

That’s probably when the release date will be confirmed. In the meantime, however, players will have until November 27th to complete The Lost Cryptarch quest and acquire Thunderlord. It’s also the last possible chance to visit the Cosmodrome from Destiny 1 (spoilers, by the way). After that, Thunderlord can only be acquired from Exotic Engrams, and the Cosmodrome will be closed off.

Destiny 2 is also free to claim on PC until November 18th. If you purchase Forsaken, then Curse of Osiris and Warmind are included for free. Unfortunately, Black Armory is currently only part of the Annual Pass, which costs $34.99, and can’t be purchased separately. More information will be coming soon on whether it’s worth it, so stay tuned.
