Destiny 2 Faction Rally

Bungie’s Destiny 2 has been the subject of many headlines lately whether it’s the whole XP-throttling disaster, locking content behind DLC access or the disappointing nature of Curse of Osiris as a whole. Its last update yesterday with Masterworks seemed to be shake things up appropriately but for the most part, it’s been rough going for the developer.

Fortunately, at least for fans, there will be more Destiny 2 content coming. Community manager David “DeeJ” Dague announced on Twitter that he was aware of the release date for The Dawning, the next big event seasonal event which adds snowball fights and new armour. On December 14th, everyone else would also be aware.

It would be interesting to see The Dawning appear this month, if at all this year. Most studios usually slow down operations around this time to celebrate Christmas and the New Year. Perhaps it could launch next week along with a number of events like Faction Rally? Time will tell so stay tuned for more information.
