Bungie has been holding an extensive beta testing period for their upcoming online shooter Destiny and with it ending tomorrow, it has announced that the beta will be open to all players from 4 PM PST today. You’ll be able to download the beta client from either PSN or Xbox Live without requiring a code but keep in mind that PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold are still required to play the game.

This public access is most likely due to the beta period going so smoothly and Bungie wanting to test the limits of its servers. A stress test will be held tomorrow and all those who log in will reap rewards for doing so. It may be for a short time but if you can, you should definitely hop into the Destiny beta – the game is already attracting universal praise prior to its release.

Destiny will be out on September 9th for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4. Are you looking forward to it? Let us know in the comments.
