Destiny Content Roadmaps Coming, Bungie “Most Certainly Have a Plan”

Destiny

If you’re the least bit wondering about what’s coming next with Destiny (and you’re not the only one), then you’ve likely been annoyed about Bungie’s silence when it comes to the major updates. The past few months have been mostly relegated to events like Crimson Days and teasing a large Spring update but not providing many specifics aside from a higher Light level, new challenges and new loot.

Thankfully, Bungie seems somewhat aware that fans want some kind of update. Community manager David “DeeJ” Dague responded to a Reddit post by stating that, “As referenced on the blog last Thursday, there will absolutely be content roadmaps as part of our Twitch calendar. As soon as the team is ready to make those promises, they’ll be on cam talking about what you can look forward to.”

Dague also said that a plan is certainly in the work but it will be about things that are guaranteed to happen as opposed to probably happening. “We most certainly have a plan. I’m just giving the team more time to solidify that plan into a guaranteed deliverable. I’m all for transparency, but only when it reflects the actual reality you’ll experience as a player.

“I don’t think any of us gain anything when we talk about things that might happen. I’m looking forward to featuring them, so they can show off what they’ve been working on. In the meantime, there are other fun things we can share on Twitch that will deepen your understanding for how our people create the things you play.”

What are your thoughts on DeeJ’s comments? Let us know below and stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks.
