Talk to anyone who’s a fan of Bungie’s Destiny and they’ll either tell you what the game needs to be better or talk about how they just can’t stop playing (or both). Now imagine those who can’t stop playing – which make up a fairly large portion of the 3.2 million daily user base – not being able to sign in. That wouldn’t be great but that’s what’s happening to PS4 players.

Whether it’s because of the new update for the PlayStation 4, which goes live today, or because of bugs, only PS4 players have been locked out of playing Destiny. Bungie is aware of the issue and tweeted that, “We are actively investigating issues impacting players’ ability to sign in to Destiny on PlayStation 4.”

Considering the PS4 makes up a significant chunk of Destiny’s player base, this is anything but good news. Stay tuned for more information as we keep you updated on Destiny’s PS4 status.
