If you’ve been taking advantage of Destiny’s admittedly lackluster network architecture, be it for winning in Trials of Osiris or some other reason, then take note: Bungie is watching you.

Community manager Cozmo noted on Twitter that, “The Banhammer strikes again. More cheaters have been removed. Keep it clean out there.”

Cheaters have been a long-standing issue in Destiny for a while now. Many have blamed the lack of dedicated servers while others have criticized Bungie’s slow response in the past cheaters prospering whether from lag switching during PvP matches or DDOSing other players. Considering the stakes in some modes like Trials of Osiris, it’s understandably a big deal when some players continue to cheat for weeks on ends.

However, Bungie is still keeping a watchful on its player base. What are your thoughts on the response to cheaters? Let us know in the comments below as well as your horror stories of being DDOSed or worse.
