After discovering that players who took part in Destiny’s Sparrow Racing League could acquire the items from the SRL Record Book without spending any Silver on said book, Bungie quickly released a hot fix to address the same. Players who acquired items from the Record Book will still own them but these will remain locked unless the actual Record Book is owned.
It should be noted that any progress already made towards the Record Book will remain saved. However, be careful when handling Record Book gear – it can only be acquired once for the time being. Bungie is working on a fix that would allow players a chance to obtain multiple copies so in the meantime, be careful not to accidentally dismantle the gear.
Other bugs that were fixed include an issue where Exotic Leg engrams didn’t decrypt into any Exotic items and an issue where “The Climb” ship from Future War Cult was providing Reputation (this has been disabled for now and will be fixed in a later update). It also seems the Iron Banner Ghost Shell has been returned to its original green colour. Joy.
