Before Destiny 2 is all good and revealed, Bungie will continue to support the original Destiny. That means events like Iron Banner will be returning on May 9th at 10 AM PST.
In what’s a first of sorts, Iron Banner will be Mayhem Clash. This PvP mode focuses primarily on abilities, providing a short cooldown to melee and grenades while allowing your Super to roam free. It will end on May 16th at 2 AM PST.
Iron Banner is a PvP end-game event where players can earn high Level loot as drops and from bounties provided by Lady Ifrideet. The gear and weapons go up to Light level 400, thus offering non-raiders and Trials of Osiris players a chance to hit max Light. Light level does matter though so make sure you’re at your highest before stepping in.
