Destiny

Bungie’s Destiny will be entering into public beta next month for all consoles but for those who didn’t know, the maximum level cap for your characters is level 20. Does that mean the game will be over before it began? Not quite, according to Bungie Head of Community Eric Osborne in conversation with Tech Radar.

“In Destiny, when you complete the campaign, you’re really just getting started.” This is due to the cyclical nature of the game which won’t keep you in one place for long.

“It sounds like light storytelling, but once you start experiencing it, it’s a driver to keep you moving around the world in a really cool way. It creates these cool cyclical experiences where you sort of become omnivorous.

“We’ve named a raid, but that’s just one of the examples of the kind of stuff we want to give players. Once they reach what they believe is the peak in the game, then we really just want to blow their minds with a whole bunch of crazy, like, ‘Now go try that!'”

Destiny will be out on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4 on September 9th. Are you looking forward to it? Let us know in the comments.
