Destiny Logos Recreated On Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Weapons Skins

The skins combine the best of both worlds.

Now that the Beta is officially live and going strong for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 there are a number of users who are finding all kinds of cool things they can do with features such as weapons editor. One particular Redditor has combined his love of Black Ops 3 with his undying devotion to Destiny by recreating a number of the designs that permeate Destiny and putting those on as skins on a number of his weapons in Black Ops 3.

BrunoHM recently displayed some screenshots which showed a number of rifles all decorated with the designs and skins of Hunter, Titan, Warlock, New Monarchy, Orbit Life, Cult War Futura, Osiris, Ira Queen and Crucible. You can check out the skins in the pictures below and while this is impressive on its face just because of the devotion of Destiny, it isn’t newsworthy simply because you can bring your love of lore from other games into this new Call of Duty. What really makes this stand out is just how detailed the editor that is available in Black Ops 3 is going to be especially when the game goes officially live.

The Ark-7 is the weapon that Bruno chose to change up a number of times and it’s rather impressive just how natural, yet detailed that skin actually is. The design seems to be something that was intended for the game, not for another game entirely made by a whole other company. You can play around with this editor if you have access to the beta, or you can wait until Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 officially launches on November 6.
