Destiny (3)

The year will see numerous big releases in the Autumn and Winter periods, but perhaps one of the top ten biggest games to be out is Bungie’s Destiny, a persistent online multiplayer shooter. Bungie has hyped the game for quite a while now, and now, it’s time to walk the walk.

In its latest Weekly Update, the developer said that, “We talked a big game last year. We were so excited to talk about our future. Now, it’s time to deliver. It’s time to close this out in a way that we will all be proud of. We owe that to ourselves, and to our legacy. But most of all, we owe it to you.”

You can also expect some new details on the game soon as the studio recently showcased a pre-alpha build to various writers in the prior week. “For you, that means the floodgates are about to burst wide open. You’ll be hearing from them soon. They’ll be loaded with shiny new assets. It will mark the beginning of your true introduction into the world of Destiny. We hope, more than anything, that you love what you’ve seen.”

Destiny will release on September 9th for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4.
