Destiny

Bungie has released a new patch for its online shooter Destiny. Things may get a little hairy for those who haven’t played the game but we’ll do our best to explain.

Among the many fixes and changes included are buffs for the Thorn handcannon and Bad Juju pulse rifle. Various other weapons have had adjustments including better stability for Super Good Advice and a larger magazine for the Truth.

Players can also trade in their Vanguard and Crucible Marks for materials rather than running around on planets for the same (materials are needed to upgrade one’s Legendary Gear). You’ll also obtain materials from Daily Patrol Bounties and Daily Heroic Strikes.

Bungie has also fixed some glitches that occurred with the Vault of Glass Raid and further reduced some of the networking issues players have faced. Have you downloaded the patch – a little less than 80 MB – and how are you finding it? Let us know in the comments below.
