Destiny Servers Undergoing Maintenance

Hotfix prep underway?

Posted By | On 02nd, Feb. 2017

Bungie’s Destiny is undergoing maintenance which started at 9 AM PST and is expected to conclude at 11 AM PST.

The developer wrote in a recent Help article that, “Player impact is expected to be minimal. Players who are returned to the title screen should be able to resume uninterrupted gameplay after logging back in. Players who encounter other issues should report them to the #Help forum.”

There is speculation that this maintenance update will lay the foundation for Destiny’s next big hotfix which addresses weapon balance in the Crucible.

Bungie has talked about the hotfix before and noted how it will offer viable alternatives to shotguns without outright nerfing them and taking care of a few Exotics among other things. Given the current meta in PvP, it’s not the worst thing that could happen.

What are your thoughts on the upcoming hotfix and what changes do you hope to see in the Crucible? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information.
