Destiny

As part of its free preview week for Crucible content in Destiny: The Taken King, the new Mayhem Clash mode went live at 10 AM PST on September 11th. If you log in now, you’ll be able to partake in the same.

Mayhem Clash is significantly different from normal Clash because of the reduced time taken to charge all your abilities. Super abilities are the primary hazards to watch out for but heavy melee attacks and grenades also benefit from this. This encourages a more “relaxed” style of play according to Bungie though when The Taken King goes live, Mayhem Clash will not be a permanent fixture like Rift or Salvage.

Destiny’s The Taken King is out on September 15th on Xbox One, PS4, PS3 and Xbox 360. For PvE fans, it adds a brand new area in the Dreadnaught, a new public events system called Court of Oryx, new story missions and Exotic quests, and new weapons.
