Destiny House of Wolves

The weekly reset has occurred for Bungie’s Destiny which means that new Nightfall, Weekly Heroic and Prison of Elders activities are now available for players.

The Nightfall this week is the Shadow Thief with Arc Burn, Lightswitch, Epic, Nightfall and Specialist (wherein special weapon damage is favoured). If you have an Arc sniper rifle, this is your jam. The Weekly Heroic Strike is the Devil’s Lair with Heroic and Solar Burn active.

As for the Prison of Elders, level 32 sees Qodron, the Forever Eater, return. Level 34 sees Guardians going up against Kaliks Reborn in Machine Wrath. However, level 35 should be interesting since Skolas – the current top boss – will have Small Arms (primary weapon damage favoured) and Lightswitch (enemy melee is greatly increased) active. It’ll be quite the encounter, especially considering all the mobs with melee attacks. Head here for a full list of modifiers to each wave in Prison of Elders.

Today is also Bungie Day (7/7) and the developer has promised a special emblem for players so stay tuned later today for an update.
