The weekly reset has come and gone for Bungie’s Destiny, bringing a familiar wave of activities with different modifiers. Ever get that feeling of deja vu?
This week’s Nightfall is the Shield Brothers on Oryx’s Dreadnaught. Modifiers include Epic, Void Burn, Brawler (Guardian melee damage is greatly increased), Grounded (more damage taken when airborne) and Ironclad (more foes have shields and life is miserable). If you’ve been busy completing Age of Triumph raids and their Challenge Modes, then equip an elemental primary like Word of Crota or Atheon’s Epilogue and murder all.
Speaking of which, the Weekly Featured Raid is Rise of Iron’s Wrath of the Machine. This means that both Challenge Modes are active, giving you a chance at ornaments, more elemental primaries and other loot. Heroic Strike modifiers include Heroic, Specialist (Special weapon damage increased), Juggler (no ammo drops for currently held weapon) and Airborne (more damage dealt while in the air). Equip Trespasser or Lord of Wolves for maximum carnage.
