Bungie’s Destiny will be receiving a new event in February. Dubbed Crimson Days, the event will center around a new 2v2 Crucible mode called Crimson Doubles which “features a special twist, born of new gameplay and mechanics that only battle-tested star-crossed lovers will appreciate.” Crimson Days starts on February 9th and ends on February 16th.

There will be loot to gain though what this special mechanic or loot could be has yet to be revealed. News of the new Crucible mode was already spilled several days ago when enterprising NeoGAF members discovered designer Lars Bakken testing it on PlayStation 4. Considering the state of Crucible, it’s kind of hilarious that Bungie would introduce another new playlist as opposed to, well, actual content. But we digress.

What are your thoughts on Crimson Days? Will you be finding a “dance partner” or “date” or other uncomfortable Bungie jargon to play it? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information.
