Destiny Iron Banner

Destiny’s other highly competitive multiplayer event has returned with the Iron Banner going live yesterday during the weekly reset. The Control-based Crucible event sees teams of six Guardians fighting each other with level advantages enabled. This means that your equipment and the max damage output of your weapons makes a difference, as does your level.

One may wonder what incentive they’d have to take part but Lord Saladin seems to have his fair share of interesting loot. Along with revamped gloves and boots – which will both only grant 36 Light – Saladin is offering the high impact Legendary scout rifle Gheleon’s Demise and the fusion rifle Perun’s Fire. What’s more, you can also purchase Etheric Light for 5000 Glimmer once you hit rank 3 in Iron Banner. It’s unknown whether this is a one-time purchase or not.

Hop aboard the Crucible today if you’re interested but try to find a team if possible – Iron Banner has been known to attract some of the most competitive PvP players in Destiny
