Destiny The Taken King

As we get ever closer to the launch of Destiny’s The Taken King people are finding little tidbits that are going to be in the game when it finally hits consoles this week. Those who are combing through information already available are finding information about things like new raid armor, as well as features of modes such as King’s Fall. Now one sharp eyed Destiny fan was able to discover a brand new item that will apparently allow users to run Nightfall/Weekly Heroic a 2nd time and still get rewards.

The Reddit user explained that he simply couldn’t sleep one night and so he started combing through a database of weapons that are going to be making an appearance in The Taken King. He came across a listing for the Vex Chronospanner. According to the database entry this item is a “single-use piece of Vex technology. If you complete a given week’s Nightfall or Weekly Heroic Strike with this token in your Inventory, and then play through that activity again in the same week, you’ll be re-eligible for rewards as if it was your first playthrough.”

This kind of discovery seems like it has become par for the course when talking about the different weapons and items that are going to be a part of Destiny 2.0 and The Taken King. Of course, we’ll have to see just how these items work when they launch. Others have pointed out that while these items are going to be available, the game has reportedly been souped up in order to make using these tools a bit harder.
