Detroit: Become Human, Dreams Not Confirmed for 2017

Sony's Shuhei Yoshida confirms recent video lising was a mistake.

A new video from PlayStation EU’s official YouTube channel released recently, touting games that would be “coming to PlayStation in 2017′. While games with confirmed release dates like Horizon: Zero Dawn were showcased, some titles that haven’t had a whole lot of information like Quantic Dream’s Detroit: Become Human and Media Molecule’s Dreams were also seen.

Naturally, this led to a Twitter user questioning Shuhei Yoshida, Sony Worldwide Studios president for SIE, on whether these games were actually confirmed for the new year. Yoshida responded that this was simply a mistake on behalf of PlayStation EU.

This doesn’t necessarily mean that neither game could release this year on PS4. It only means that their release dates are not currently confirmed for 2017. Plans could always change so stay tuned in the coming months for events like E3 2017 to learn more.

When do you think Detroit: Become Human and Dreams could release? Let us know below.
