Devil May Cry 5 Director May Have Teased A New Project

Please be Dragon’s Dogma 2 or a new Rival Schools.

Hideaki Itsuno is a bit of a genius. He is behind Devil May Cry 3, 4, and the newest, sublime Devil May Cry 5, as well as the underrated, cult classic Dragon’s Dogma. What I’m trying to say is that Itsuno makes great games, which is why you look forward to whatever it is that has his mark of approval.

And now, we may have something new from him to look forward to—speaking on Twitter, Itsuno shared a bunch of photos of some very happy developers feasting—but it was the caption that was intriguing. His caption said that this picture contained the “Devil May Cry 5 team and the new project team”. New project? Does he mean DLC for Devil May Cry 5? But there isn’t any Devil May Cry 5 DLC. So does he mean an altogether new game? Could we get Dragon’s Dogma 2? Or, goodness, a Rival Schools revival like Itsuno has claimed wanting to work on before?

Whatever it is he works on next, it’s going to be a long wait, since Devil May Cry 5 only just came out.
