Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition

This party is once again being crazy with the surprise announcement this month of Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition. The re-release of the title will see us revisit the game that helped to revive the action franchise in a big way. Like previous Special Edition releases in the series, it will include new content, and at TGS 2020 we got a look at them.

Via Gamespot, we got to see the presentation of the show that began with Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition. Here the team showed off the game’s new ray-tracing, which will be exclusive to the PS5 version for a period of time, as well as Turbo mode, that sees the game going at 1.2x speed, and Legendary Dark Knight mode, a special difficulty mode that puts an absurd amount of enemies in your path.

And, of course, one of the biggest draws of the new release, we get a very small look at the playable version of Vergil. On top of all of that you will also get all the content from the Deluxe Edition release of the original title (with included alternate colors for each character) and the Bloody Palace post-launch DLC.

Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition will release at launch alongside the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. As of now, the game is not planned for a PC release.
