Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls

Blizzard Entertainment continues to expand on Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls. Its next update 2.4 will be pretty massive and adds in a new zone called Greyhollow Island, a “mysterious forested locale” which apparently doesn’t get many repeat visitors. The update will go live on January 15th.

The new zone will benefit Blizzard’s Adventure mode more than anything since players have to essentially gather information to find out what happened. Other areas have been updated including Leoric’s Manor which will have the Royal Quarters attached and the Ruins of Sescheron which brings about the Eternal Woods.

Other new features include Set Dungeons which can only be accessed with specific sets of equipment; Empowered Rifts for better chances at end-game loot and gems at the cost of huge amounts of gold; new Legendary items; and of course, the usual round of bug fixes and changes. Check out Blizzard’s blog post for more information and let us know what you think of the update in the comments.
