Diablo 3

The name might seem a bit tainted after the backlash against Diablo: Immortal but Blizzard’s Diablo 3 is still chugging along. Season 16 is on the way, along with several significant buffs to pretty much every gear set in the game. You can expect the season to start on January 18th.

Season 16’s theme is pretty simple – all Seasonal players gain the benefit of the Ring of Royal Grandeur. This is a Legendary item that reduces the number of set items required for specific gear set bonuses by 1. As a result, you won’t need to equip it at all to benefit from gear set bonuses in the early-going.

Even better is the fact that you can craft some intriguing new builds using multiple gear set pieces. Want to create a Natalya’s Vengeance/Embodiment of the Marauder Demon Hunter to shred everything with sentries while taking less damage with Rain of Vengeance? Go for it.

Season 16 will come to a close on March 17th.
