Blizzard Entertainment’s Diablo will be celebrating its 20th anniversary soon and as promised at Blizzcon 2016, there will be a special event in Diablo 3 to commemorate. The Darkening of Tristam is actually a dungeon that features the first game’s 16 levels which have been remade with assets from Diablo 3.

Along with a filter that pixelates everything, old-school sounds and eight degree rotation for the camera, you’ll also be unable to run. To enter the dungeon, simply locate some cultists in Sanctuary, take their missives and enter the resulting portal.

The Darkening of Tristam will arrive in patch 2.4.3 and will also bring other quality of life changes including Greater Rift refinements. You can check out the latest video from the development team below to learn more about how the event’s creation came about and what to expect.

Diablo 3 has even more content in store this year with two new regions and the new Necromancer class. Stay tuned for more information on when the Darkening of Tristam patch goes live.
