Diablo 4’s fifth season is set to begin in under a month’s time, but those looking for more substantial, narrative-driven additions won’t have to wait too long either, with the action RPG’s first expansion, Vessel of Hatred, coming this October. Among its several additions, the expansion will also bring a completely new class in the form of the Spiritborn, and though details on it have been scarce until now, that’ll be changing soon.

Blizzard Entertainment has announced a new reveal stream for next Thursday, July 18, at 11 AM PT, where it will reveal the Spiritborn class. Players can expect “an in-depth look” at the class, entailing details from the developers on “class design, gameplay, lore, and much more”. Seeing as this is a completely new class that the Diablo franchise has never seen in any previous game, there’s bound to be plenty of excitement surrounding its unveiling.

Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred will launch for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Xbox One, PS4, and PC on October 8. Check out the expansion’s opening cinematic through here.
