Diablo 4 - ray tracing

Blizzard Entertainment’s Diablo 4 received a new trailer during Nvidia’s CES 2024 Special Address, confirming that ray tracing support would arrive in March. Check out the latest trailer below to see how it affects the visuals.

Ray-traced shadows and reflections are supported, adding quite a bit to the immersion. Nvidia DLSS 3 support is present, and while PC requirements for ray tracing haven’t been revealed, it should help with performance. It’s unknown if PS5 and Xbox Series X players will also receive the update, so stay tuned for more details.

Diablo 4 is available for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC. Season of Blood is ongoing, with the limited-time end-game Abattoir of Zir event ending next week. Season 3 doesn’t have a release date, but it’s due this month (no delays, at least not at the moment), and the development team says we’ll hear more in the coming weeks.
