Digimon Survive, set for release on July 29, has gotten a new release date trailer that shows off some new gameplay for the upcoming game. Check out the trailer below.

The trailer shows quite a bit of the visual novel-styled conversations that feature heavily in Digimon Survive, as well as a couple of moments where players are presented with choices.

Digmon Survive will also have players use their in-game phones to try and uncover strange anomalies. The trailer likes emphasise that any choice could end up being the player’s last one.

The trailer also gives us a glimpse at Digimon Survive‘s tactical-RPG battle. Players will take turns in moving their Digimon around the battlefield and having them attack or use various items and abilities.

Digimon Survive‘s release date was announced by producer Kazumasu Habu back in April. The game was originally announced back in 2018, and is meant to celebrate the Digimon anime’s 25th anniversary.

Digimon Survive is coming to PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
