DiRT 5

Codemasters teased a new DiRT game in development and it’s now been revealed. DiRT 5 debuted on Inside Xbox with graphics optimized for Xbox Series X. Check out the first gameplay for the title below.

The footage seen was quite impressive, showcasing dirt effects, weather effects like lightning and even different times of day. The effect of lighting on the cars as they race through the night looks mighty impressive. We’ll have to see how the gameplay pans out but for now, Codemasters is living up to its reputation as the best rally racing sim developer on the market.

DiRT 5 will be releasing this October and it’s safe to assume it will launch for PS5 and PC along with Xbox Series X. More gameplay and details should also be revealed so stay tuned. More announcements from Inside Xbox are also coming up from various third party studios so don’t go away.
