A demo is currently available for PS4 and Switch in Japan.
Nippon Ichi Software’s Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny is out next week in Japan so naturally, a new trailer has been released to hype it up. It showcases the game’s central characters along with their various attacks and quirky attitudes. Check it out below.
The story focuses on Zed, a zombie considered to be at the lowest run of the Netherworld. He possesses a special talent though – Super Reincarnation, which allows for increased power upon reviving. Using his unique ability, Zed must battle the God of Destruction and help save the Netherworld.
The first review for Disgaea 6 came from Famitsu, giving it a 33/40 and noting that it took about 30 hours to clear (with over 200 hours for additional content). A demo is currently live in Japan for PS4 and Nintendo Switch, with the game itself launching on January 28th. It will be available in the West this Summer for Switch – stay tuned for more details in the coming days.
