Arkane Studios’ Dishonored: Death of the Outsider will be a standalone follow-up to Dishonored 2 but the focus isn’t on Emily Kaldwin or Corvo Attano. Instead, players will assume the role of assassin Billie Lurk as she rescues her mentor Daud and works toward killing the ultimate target – The Outsider.

In a new video from Bethesda which intermixes stage footage with director Harvey Smith and gameplay footage that showcases Billie’s powers, the various ways players can sail through the new game and much more. Basically whether you want to go completely chaotic, dial it back and ghost around or mix up the two, the game offers full liberty of choice.

Smith discusses the motives behind Lurk and Daud targeting The Outsider, what they hope to gain and also what endears fans to the mysterious man. The question is: Can Lurk ultimately get rid of The Outsider without killing him? That remains to be seen. Dishonored: Death of the Outsider is out on September 15th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
