Today we got the announcement of a new science fiction title that’s got a good deal of prestige behind it. Take-Two Interactive officially revealed a new FPS called Disintegration from a new studio, V1 Interactive.

The announcement came with a teaser trailer included below. V1 Interactive is being spearheaded by Marco Letho, one of the co-creators of the iconic Halo series. The game will get its grand unveiling August 19th at GamesCom and will be published by Take-Two Interactive’s Private Division label. The developer says it’s composed of a small and dedicated group of talent used to working on AAA projects.

Disintegration will release some time in 2020. As it stands now, we have little more than the name, since no platforms or a more specific time frame were mentioned. We got little more than a slick video of a spaceship, which, presumably, will be a big feature in some way. Keep your eyes peeled next month for the game’s unveiling and, as always, we’ll keep you updated.
