Disney Epic Mickey Rebrushed

THQ Nordic has announced that a free demo for Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed is now available for all platforms. The contents weren’t detailed, but it does let you experience the “first steps” into the game’s magical world. Check out the release trailer below.

Based on the 2010 Nintendo Wii platformer from Junction Point Studios, Rebrushed is a remake that sees Mickey having to save Wasteland. The world is where forgotten Disney properties and entities reside, including Mickey’s predecessor, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit.

Players must then choose to clean up the Blot infesting the world using a Magic Paintbrush, eraser, and more. Whether you take out enemies or make them friendly affects the story, and there are also various secrets to discover. The remake also confers some new skills onto Mickey, like ground pound and dash.

Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed launches on September 24th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC. Check out some more gameplay here.
