Larian Studios’ Divinity: Original Sin 2 is now available for PC users via Steam after leaving Early Access and packing in tons of content. Current feedback on Steam is very strong but even more interesting is how many people picked up the game. Apparently sales were so good that a game designer and writer for the game noted on Twitter how it toppled PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds in the Steam Top Sellers chart.

Of course, a quick glance over at the same chart right now will indicate that Divinity: Original Sin 2 is in second place but that’s still a great accomplishment. It should be noted that the number of people who took the game to the top purchased the game before the full release, enlisting in Early Access as a result.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 has a lot more going on than the first game, allowing you to create a variety of builds, explore Origins stories for various characters (or take them as allies later), play co-op with four friends, take part in a Game Master mode where one player calls the shots and much more. It also releases on PS4 and Xbox One at a later date.
