Divinity Original Sin 2_01

Larian Studios continues to support Divinity: Original Sin 2 with updates and hotfixes. The latest hotfix v3.0.160.028 fixes a select few glitches following the last major update. These glitches include being able to have items reappear after saving and reloading your save.

Items could thus be stacked and stockpiled this way, allowing for some easy gold. A crash on the host side for players who don’t have characters assigned in certain modes along with a crash that occurred in multiplayer lobbies when clients tried to reconnect have also been fixed.

You can also reselect some starting skills in the avatar creation menu (it was originally bugged and prevented this from happening). The full hotfix notes can be seen below. We’re not sure what’s coming next for the classic role-playing game though it’s possible that Larian Studios could work on console ports along with a future Enhanced Edition. We’ll find out in the coming months so stay tuned.

  • Fixed stackable items reappearing after saving and loading
  • Fixed a crash on the host side related to players not having a character assigned in certain game modes
  • Fixed a crash in the multiplayer lobby when clients reconnect a second time
  • Fixed not being able to reselect certain starting skills in the character creation screen
