Larian Studios isn’t just busy with bringing Divinity: Original Sin Definitive Edition to PS4 and Xbox One. It’s also working on a sequel with Divinity: Original Sin 2 for which the artwork recently leaked (courtesy Multiplayer Italia).

Any skepticism as to this being Divinity: Original Sin 2 was laid to rest by this tweet from the developer. “We’re working on something BIG for you to get your claws into. Don’t worry, there’s more to be revealed very soon!” The attached image in the tweet matches up with the leaked artwork perfectly.

NeoGAF also revealed that Larian will be launching a Kickstarter campaign for the sequel on August 26th with the first prototype to be showcased at PAX Prime. Divinity: Original Sin 2 will apparently be on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. And call us crazy, but it seems to boast four playable characters this time around.

Update: Larian has officially announced the sequel and is asking fans to vote on reward tiers for the Kickstarter. Head here for more information.
