DNF Duel - Spectre

It’s kind of crazy to think that DNF Duel’s first DLC character, Spectre, was first announced back in December 2022. She’s been teased for release this Summer, and in a new trailer, Nexon finally confirmed her addition to the roster in July. Check out some of her moves below.

Spectre’s move set relies on mobility and powerful strikes. She can use her wire to quickly traverse a stage and transition into attack or unleash an Iai Slash to cover the screen (though its recovery is slow). Her Awakening is teased in the trailer as part of a new system that goes live alongside her release.

Players can choose from two Awakening conditions – below 30 percent or 50 percent of your max HP – with different effects. These grant new Skills and a unique Awakening Effect to the character. It’s worth noting that Spectre is only the first of five new DLC characters, with the next arriving in Fall 2023. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
