Striker, Grappler and Hitman also receive a few minor changes, but this update is all about dialing down the Wind mage's power.

DNF Duel

Arc System Works, Neople and Eighting have released a new update for DNF Duel. It’s relatively small but contains nerfs for Swift Master, which has been dominating the competition. Whether these nerfs will be significant in the long run remains to be seen.

Changes include decreased MP regeneration rate and increased time needed to start MP regeneration for Wind Twist, Wind Orb, and Storm Quaker. Storm Strike, Vortex Hurricane and Storm Quaker also have reduced guaranteed minimum damage. Storm Quaker, along with Wind Blaster and Sonic Move, reduces the guard gauge less. If that weren’t enough, Wind Blaster now deals reduced damage and guard stun time.

Other changes include reduced guard stun after the second strike with Striker’s Rising Fist, reduced guard stun and increased guard pushback after the final strike of Hitman’s Bill Drill, and more. Check out the full notes below for more details.

DNF Duel is available for PS4, PS5 and PC. Check out our review for the game here.
