Early last year, the original DOOM as well as its sequel, DOOM 2, came to all modern platforms. People have been enjoying ripping and tearing demos, old school-style, with the classic shooters ever since, but if you thought you were done, you’re about to pulled right back in with a new update that adds plenty of bloody new stuff.

The update is live now, and it includes support for 60 frames per second, something many people will enjoy. Along with that come options to adjust aspect ratio, added weapon selection, quick save options, and several more quality of life additions. Along with those also come new add-ons, with the likes of Final DOOM as well as John Romero’s SIGIL, an original campaign the designer created. You can see the full list of what was included in the update through here.

DOOM and DOOM 2 are available across all major platforms,. The update can be downloaded across all available platforms now as well. The next entry in the legendary series, DOOM Eternal, launches in March.
