Lest you thought Quake Champions was taking all the attention at id Software, the developer has released its first DLC pack, Unto The Evil, for DOOM.

Unto The Evil adds three new maps to the multiplayer including Offering, Cataclysm and Ritual. It also brings forth a new weapon – the UAC EMG Pistol – and a new equipment piece in the form of the Kinetic Mine.

A new playable Demon Rune has also been added with the Harvester along with tons of new cosmetic items like colours, taunts, armour patterns and armour sets. New hack modules are also available to play around with.

To make things better, the new PartyPlay system ensures that only one of your friends needs to own Unto the Evil for everyone to play. Party up with said friend and map access is yours. There will also be a double XP weekend that will last till August 8th, 12 PM ET so get in on the DOOM action now.
