Game Overview:
DOOM is a first person shooter developed by id Software and published by Bethesda.
It is the fourth mainline instalment in the series, the first since DOOM 3 in 2004, and serves as a reboot of the franchise.
id Software has announced major changes to how it is selling games from the Doom and Quake franchises. There will also be new bundles for both franchises.
id Software and documentary-maker Noclip have released early gameplay footage for the cancelled DDOM 4 project, as well as some early footage from DOOM (2016)'s development.
id Software is currently hiring a combat designer for its next game, which looks to be yet another entry in the rebooted DOOM franchise.
It seems the collection of shooters, compiling several DOOM titles, is coming to the Switch. An official announcement is yet to be made.
