DOOM

Remember the beta for id Software’s Doom, a reboot of the series for current gen consoles, that took place many months ago? A closed alpha will be beginning soon for the game as well.

If you purchased Wolfenstein: The New Order – which granted you the beta access to begin with – before May 26th 2014 and already redeemed your beta code, then you might be eligible for the test taking place this weekend. The closed alpha is scheduled for December 3rd, 7 PM PST.

PC users will likely find a notification on Steam via the client being in their library while PS3/PS4 and Xbox 360/Xbox One beta players are all immediately given entry. Simply head to your games library on the respective console and you should be able to download the client ahead of the alpha’s starting.

Meanwhile, Doom is scheduled to release in the first half of 2016 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
