Dr. Mario World

Nintendo is getting more and more aggressive with its mobile output, with multiple Pokemon games coming for mobile devices soon, and arguably their biggest franchise soon to get an entry as well. Before all that, though, the doctor will be in with Dr. Mario World, the mobile-based return of the puzzle series. It was announced not too long ago, and today we get a look at the game’s multiplayer.

In a trailer released via Nintendo, we get to see what it’ll be like to play Dr. Mario World with friends or strangers. You can connect to either Facebook or Line to find friends to challenge in a multiplayer bout, or you can go against strangers. The game plays very similarly to past titles, with a match ending when one player’s board is filled with viruses.

Dr. Mario World will release for both iOS and Android on July 10th. Pre-registration is up now for those who want to get the game as soon as it’s live for both platforms.
