Dragon Age: Inquisition E3 Trailer Emerges from Darkness, Imbibes Tolkien

Bioware's medieval fantasy RPG sends our hearts a'flutter.

With all the delays happening, Bioware’s new Dragon Age: Inquisition trailer thankfully didn’t confirm that the game would be releasing in 2015. Showcased at Microsoft’s E3 briefing, we instead got a closer look at some of the stunning vistas we’ll be visiting in the new pseudo-open world game. Check it out above.

One major aspect that the game inherits is a Tolkien-esque vibe that so many other games failed to properly showcase. The combat still looks top-notch, if a little too hack and slash heavy, and the overall visuals seem to have gotten better. At this point, it would be hard for Dragon Age: Inquisition to do wrong.

Dragon Age: Inquisition will be releasing on October 7th for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC. Stay tuned for more details on the same, especially with EA’s media briefing set to premier next. What are your thoughts on the trailer? Let us know in the comments.
