Dragon Age: Inquisition

Bad news for previous gen console owners of Dragon Age: Inquisition – if you want to partake in future content, you’ll need to upgrade to current gen platforms. This is according to Bioware and EA who have announced that future Dragon Age: Inquisition DLC will only be available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Thus far, all the DLC released – namely Jaws of Hakkon for single player and the Dragonslayer for multiplayer fans – have been on both current and previous gen platforms. The former had a bit of timed exclusivity on the PC and Xbox One but it soon made it’s way to other platforms later.

At this stage, players will have to transfer over their saves from the PS3 and Xbox 360 to PS4 and Xbox One in order to experience future content.

What are your thoughts on requiring current gen platforms for Dragon Age: Inquisition DLC? Let us know in the comments.
