The Inquistor cometh.

Bioware’s next big RPG Dragon Age: Inquisition received its official box cover art today and a new gameplay trailer has now been revealed. Not only did it show off some really good looking visuals and gameplay, but we now have a definitive release date: October 7th. Check out the trailer above.

Dragon Age: Inquisition is third game in the series and looks to fix many of the shortcomings of the second game. The combat is apparently less clunk than before, the world has been significantly expanded into an open world, romances are being touted as more dynamic and some reports indicate there will be more than 40 different endings.

It will also be launching on the same day as Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor, so the competition between both games should be interesting to behold. Dragon Age: Inquisition is out on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4 and PC. Stay tuned for more details.
