Dragon Ball FighterZ’s Trailers Celebrate Launch, Showcase Android No. 21

What do you get when you cross an Android with Majin Buu?

Bandai Namco’s Dragon Ball FighterZ is out in just a few days for North America and Europe (Japan gets it next week) and the reviews have already begun pouring in. To celebrate its launch week, the fighting game has received two new trailers. One of them is particularly interesting since it showcases the antagonistic Android No. 21.

An original character creator for this game, Android No. 21 is shown adopting a “Majin” form akin to Majin Buu. As a result, she possesses many of the same moves and can unleash devastating special attacks on enemies. One would think she’s the final boss and unlockable for players but we’ll have to wait and find out for ourselves in the coming days.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is out on January 26th for PS4, Xbox One and PC while releasing on February 1st for Japan. It saw a number of network issues during its first beta so we’ll see how it fares on launch day.
