Dragon Ball Z has returned to the fighting game genre with Namco Bandai Games Europe has announced Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z for PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and Xbox 360. The game will focus on large co-op battles, with 4 players fighting together against opponents or even an 8 player free for all battle.

Namco Bandai Games Europe Senior Vice President Olivier Comte stated that, “The Dragon Ball games continue to thrill fans across Europe, and Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z brings some very exciting new features to the series,” said . “The large scale cooperative team melee battles are like nothing players have seen before in a Dragon Ball game. Fans can’t afford to miss it.”

The game will boast four different modes, a full featured single-player game and the same trademark visual style that captures the feel of the anime.
