The next year is getting kicked off by the latest game adaptation of the popular Dragon Ball series, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. The game promises playing through the entirety of the Z saga, recreating all the epic battles and story beats fans know and love. But it seems the game, much like the manga, won’t be all fists and world-ending events. We knew earlier that the game will take some from more lighthearted episodes, such as of the fan favorite episode where Goku and Piccolo learn to drive. Another fun little moment is also getting its own minigame, and it’ll be a home run.
Bandai Namco published a new screenshot via their official Twitter, as well as a description of a home run minigame. Fans will remember this as it’s part of the series when an older Gohan tries to hide his strength while playing baseball. It even emulates how Gohan holds the bat wrong. Check it out below.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will release January 17th, 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. For details about preorders and the collector’s edition, we’ve got you covered through here.
