We’re just a few days away from the release of the RPG take on the legendary series, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. The game’s marketing has leaned heavily into the nostalgia factor and will take you a good while to actually beat (especially if you want to try and do anything and everything the game offers). As somewhat expected with most major releases nowadays there’s also going to be a day one update.

As noted by reviewers, the game already has two updates, versions 1.01 and 1.02. They address several issues including improved loading, side quest fixes and other minor quality of life adjustments. The updates together will total over 11 gigs.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will release on January 17th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Both updates will be live across all versions on release day. If you want the lowdown on what makes this game special, check out our feature that breaks down 15 things to know about the game through here.
